Since opening nine years ago, Ripple Effect has evolved into so much more than a resale store; it's a force for good in our community and beyond. Our commitment to making a positive impact is evident in the countless lives we've touched and the work we've accomplished since our doors first opened. Here's how Ripple Effect is changing the world, one act of kindness at a time:
Global and Local Giving
Our store’s profits fund our ministry programming and support local nonprofit organizations, domestic partners with global reach, Christian ministries, and outreach services. To date, we've contributed more than $250,000 towards these efforts and have provided assistance to more than 30 vital nonprofit agencies and organizations in West Michigan and beyond.
International Outreach
Our collective Ripple Effect reaches far and wide. By supporting our domestic partners, we are impacting sustainable farming and helping build clean water wells around the globe. Our contributions are making a significant difference for global communities in need.
Local Support
We extend our generosity to our own community by supporting various local organizations, community programs, and residents in need. We firmly believe in offering a "hand up" rather than a "handout," in line with the Christian philosophy of teaching self-sufficiency.
Community Care
Our community care programming has grown year by year since our inception, and it includes a range of impactful initiatives. We are humbled to be making a difference in the lives of people in our community. We do this by meeting people where they are and showing them the love of Jesus.
